AGAWAM – Glenmeadow Retirement will sponsor a free presentation on dreams and what they mean on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at Agawam Public Library, kicking off the fall series of Glenmeadow Learning programming.

Tzivia Gover, a certified dream therapist, will lead “Dream On: Access the Learnings That Come During Sleep,” at the library at 750 Cooper St. Gover will offer hands-on exercises and information about dreams and how to access their deep benefits.

Participants will hear what dreams are, where they come from, and how they can enhance daily life. Gover will also teach simple techniques for recalling, recording and deciphering the meaning and messages in dreams.

The event is free but seating is limited, and registration is required; call (413) 567-7800 or email learning@glenmeadow.org. Visit glenmeadow.org/learning for more information.

Gover is also an author/poet and educator. She is an active member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and has been leading workshops and offering talks on dreams, writing and mindfulness for over 15 years. She is the founder of 350 Dreamers, a global network of people who practice collective dreaming for global healing.

Established in 1884, Glenmeadow is a nonprofit, accredited continuing care retirement community; it provides independent and assisted living at its campus at 24 Tabor Crossing in Longmeadow and expanded Glenmeadow at Home services throughout greater Springfield.

“As a nonprofit, our mission is to serve seniors and their families. One of the ways we do that is by providing free educational offerings in convenient locations throughout the area,” said Tim Cotz, president and CEO.
