Lyme Disease Resource Center, Inc. to Hold Wine and Canvas Fundraiser
NORTHAMPTON – The Lyme Disease Resource Center, Inc. will partner with Wine and Canvas to present an art-based fundraising event at the Delaney House, 3 Country Club Road, Holyoke, on Thursday, June 25 from6 to 9 p.m.
The Lyme Disease Resource Center is a peer-guided, supportive and safe place for those living with Lyme Disease, and their care partners, sharing strategies and resources for living well. Wine and Canvas hosts events that provide step-by-step art instruction to participants of all artistic abilities.
The event on June 25 is a fundraiser for the resource center; tickets are $45 per person and must be purchased in advance by calling 413-588-7388 or emailing info@lymedrc.org. Ticket cost is tax deductible.
The painting for the event is part of the Wine and Canvas Local Series and features the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls. No painting experience is required to take part and all materials are provided.
The Lyme Disease Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in October 2013. It serves those with tick-borne illness and their care partners, connecting clients and the community to resources, free activities, support groups, complementary therapies and workshops on the issues surrounding tick-borne illness.
