Hermit Woods Winery & Eatery Donates $688 from Wine Club Event Proceeds to the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction

LACONIA — For the second year, Hermit Woods has chosen to match funds donated by Wine Club members at an annual holiday party and gift the total to the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction. This year’s donation from the winery in Meredith and its club members was $688.

“Since our founding in 2011, the Lakes Region community has supported us and helped us grow our business,” said Hermit Woods co-owner Bob Manley. “We see this relationship as a partnership and feel it is equally important for us to support our community. What better organization than the Children’s Auction?”

Over 500 Wine Club members are invited to attend the annual Hermit Woods Winery & Eatery held at year’s end. In 2022, members sampled a variety of Hermit Woods wines and listened to pianist Michael Gallagan. Manley explains, “Although this event is complimentary, we invite club members to make donations to a couple of Hermit Woods’ favorite charities when they RSVP. Hermit Woods then matches every dollar donated.”
