LACONIA —The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction organizers are still eagerly seeking select 2025 sponsors to help support the organization and its mission to serve local, low-income children and families.

Most sponsorships have been taken by area businesses, but there are still several opportunities available.

A Max Bid sponsorship is available for $10,000 and six Location Sponsorships can be requested from $500 to $1,500.

The 44th annual auction will be held this year from Tuesday, Dec. 9 through Friday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Belknap Marketplace in Belmont.

LACONIA — The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction recently announced that Hannaford Supermarkets has committed to serving as the presenting sponsor for the sixth consecutive year for the 2025 Children’s Auction.

Larry Poliquin, store manager in Bristol, is a longtime auction volunteer who has been heading up teams to assist the organization for roughly 30 years, as long as he has been a Hannaford store manager. LACONIA — The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction recently announced that Hannaford Supermarkets is committed to serving as presenting sponsor for the fifth consecutive year for the 2024 Children’s Auction. 

“We are so grateful for over two decades of support from Hannaford, which has offered funds, items to auction, employee volunteers and five generous years as presenting sponsor,” said Jennifer Kelley, executive director of the Children’s Auction. “As the store’s motto says, ‘Hannaford is greater than groceries.’ They are all about the community and support us in so many ways.”

The Hannaford brothers began selling produce in Portland, Maine, in 1883, and now, there are more than 180 stores in the Northeast. The organization is committed to advancing the mission of nonprofits in the five states it serves.

LACONIA —As the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction gears into its busy season in preparation for the 2023 auction to be held at the Belknap Marketplace and online, Tuesday, Dec. 5 through Friday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., its leaders are still seeking sponsors.

Sponsorships help raise awareness for an organization. 41st Annual Children’s Auction is Dec. 6-9

LACONIA — The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction is pleased to announce that Hannaford Supermarkets will return as the presenting sponsor for its 2022 Children’s Auction, a fundraising event that provides grants to dozens of local nonprofit organizations to support programs focused on children in need and their families. The Auction will be held at the Belknap Marketplace on Dec. 6–9 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Hannaford has been a loyal supporter of the Auction for more than 20 years, donating funds, items, and employee volunteer hours, and this is the third year the organization is filling the critical role of Presenting Sponsor. “Community is so important to us,” said Sherri Stevens, manager of community relations for Hannaford Supermarkets. “We’re incredibly proud to stand with the many caring individuals and organizations across the Greater Lakes region who invest time, money, and talents to make this Auction a success every year.”

Poliquin serves on the Children’s Auction Board of Directors and its Disbursement Committee, which reviews all the applications from local nonprofit organizations hoping to receive funds and makes determinations. “We appreciate that Hannaford supports so many employees in giving back to the community,” Poliquin said. “That’s what keeps us strong.”
