Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction Earns Three-Star Rating from Charity Navigator

 In Client Press Releases

LACONIA—The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction recently announced that its strong financial health and ongoing accountability and transparency has earned it a Three-Star Rating from Charity Navigator. This rating designates the Children’s Auction as an official “Give with Confidence” charity, indicating it’s using its donations effectively based on Charity Navigator’s criteria.

Charity Navigator is America’s largest and most-used independent charity evaluator. Since 2001, the organization has been an unbiased and trusted source of information for more than 11 million donors annually.

Charity Navigator analyzes nonprofit performance based on four key indicators: the impact and results, accountability and finance, culture and community, and leadership and adaptability.

Jennifer Kelley, executive director of the auction said, “We hope the Three-Star Charity Navigator status will help those new to our organization trust our commitment to good governance and financial health as we support children and families in need and enhances the faith of our current supporters.”

The Children’s Auction’s rating and other information about charitable giving are available free at charitynavigator.org.
