Help the Children’s Auction fill the MI-BOX
Two collection days to be held Sept. 2 and 3 at Meredith Village Savings Bank in Gilford
LACONIA — The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction is seeking help in collecting items early for this year’s Auction. In partnership with MI-BOX Moving and Mobile Storage and Meredith Village Savings Bank, two collection days will be held at the bank’s Gilford branch on:
- Friday, September 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, September 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dropping off new, unused, and unwrapped items for the Children’s Auction is easy. Donors can drive up to the bank branch, fill out a simple form, leave the item with the volunteer, and drive away.
Jennifer Kelley, Auction executive director, said, “We’re looking for new, unused items, big and small. Gifts cards are always a hit with our bidders. Other popular items include electronics, tools, tickets to sporting events, experiences, toys, services. You name it, we need it.”
Kelley also thanks MI-BOX Moving and Mobile Storage and Meredith Village Savings Bank for making the collection days possible.
